I ventured out on a project to create a magnetic chalkboard in our kitchen. You see, every piece of artwork or whatever was just too expensive. So, I thought I would create something useful as well as cute:) So here it is...
We got a rustic wood frame to go around it from Hobby Lobby. And the little magnets are from Orange Beautiful (Which I LOVE!) on Etsy a few years ago. I can't believe it actually works as a magnetic chalkboard! I was impressed!
UPDATE:
So the magnetic chalkboard was definitely my favorite project. Mostly because it was such a great price:) Compared to Pottery barn ($145) this was very cheap. I went to Amazon and got these 2 items.

Love chalkboards! I need to get some of that magnetic primer! I looked at a couple of stores, guess I'll have to get it online!
