Look What I got in the mail yesterday!
Yep, the cutest little envelopes ever. MR.P and I use the cash system and it was getting really hard to carry envelopes around in my purse all the time. They would rip, I would write on them...it was a mess. Allison of Tresmarias and I connected and she sent me these adorable envelopes. I'm going to use them for a few weeks then do a review. Now even though it's Thursday, I am going to do a recap of what my weekend holds! Mainly because it has to do with the cash system. First off, MR.P comes home tonight! He's been gone for 2 weeks (thankfully not 2 weeks straight). I can't wait :) Friday night will be a fun, low key date night. Then Saturday we are going to the Dave Ramsey Conference!!! I am soo excited about it! We are going with some sweet friends and I can't wait. Hopefully it will give us the knowledge and excitement to stay on track and to not be discouraged. Sunday will be time with friends at church and then a restful day. I love me some Sunday afternoon naps!

My best friend works for Dave Ramsey and she'll be at the conference in ATL too!!! You're going to have a GREAT time and learn a lot!!

I heart Dave Ramsey! I love the cash envelope idea, but I have never started with our household items. I use it when we started weekly allowances. Best of luck this weekend and have fun on your date night... you and Mr. P are precious!
I got some black and white ones off Etsy! My envelopes always fall apart, so I'm really excited about these!
Those are adorable! I just finished making a little wallet for the Big Ballerina b/c she goes out to dinner many nights after ballet. It looks a kinda sorta like your envelopes, but I put in a little zipper compartment for the coins so they wouldn't fall out. Will post about it soon.
