Finally got some approval!

Since Smith arrived I started cooking a little more often.  I try to find as many recipes with as little ingredients as I possibly can.  So lately Matt has been ok with them.  Just not his favorite. I tell him to be honest or else he'll have to eat the meal again since I won't know his true feelings :)  So he tells me exactly what he thinks.  Love you babe!

Anyway, last night I made  the Pioneer Woman's Grilled Chicken & Pineapple Quesadillas.  Let me just say YUM!!  And MR.P loved them too!!  Score for me :)

This is definitely going on a 2 week rotation :)  Anyone have any recipes that their husband just loves???

This week on the project list was to make a place for the Mr. to put his hats. He requested this so I made it my mission to organize them for him.

I took some twine and hung it on a nail.  It's not cute, because this is guy stuff...you know?
Then I used some clothes pins to attach the hats to the twine. I think it turned out well :)

Matt is happy with it.  Wish my iphone would zoom out a bit so you could see how many hats this fits.  Oh well. Maybe one day :)

This week is pretty busy, but we like busy at the Peele house!  Happy Monday!

Collin LOVES a recipe from Real Simple's Meals Made Easy - the "Not-So-Sloppy Joe's" soooo good and easy!

Good job on that recipe. I love when I find something that is so easy to make, and that Devin and I can both look forward to eating. We've been doing stir fry a lot lately. And great job on the creative hat holder. How is everything going in mommy world?

so glad you all are doing well :) good to hear about your lives! danny looooooves baked ziti, which is so easy and I always have the ingredients on hand. I have started loving this "Philadelphia Cooking Cream" that comes with easy and fast recipes. It makes every meal feel home-cooked. Also, we do breakfast for dinner at LEAST once a week! :)

I love Pioneer Woman! She has some great recipes. Cooking Light has an "Enlightened Cook" Section which has fewer ingredients. Real Simple also has an app where you can put in your ingredients that you already have and it gives you a recipe!

This is hilarious. The same thing is going on at our house right now too. Trying to find recipes with just a few ingredients - I haven't gotten very many approvals lately:) I will definitely have to try this...

Just started following - Love your blog.
