Did I ever mention that MR.P and I like Dave Ramsey? Well we do. We haven't always followed all of his "rules", but we definitely try. So in order to really get debt free we sold MR.Ps 2004 4Runner in order to buy a car with cash. It didn't hurt that we got a little push from his work for him to have a truck ;) It really gave us the peace that this was what the Lord wanted for us! Oh and did I mention that his car sold in 2 days after listing it on craigslist? Yeah, that is definitely the Lord letting us know what he wanted for us! It was a little tough to give up such a reliable car, but we did it. And boy I am I glad!!!
This is what MR.P chose.
a 1996 Ford 250. Yep, it's quite large, but it actually has kind of a vintage feel to it that makes my heart happy :) Before we bought it MR.P told me it wouldn't be able to fit in the garage. My response to that was that I would just plant some flowers in the bed of the truck so that it didn't make our house look ugly. Yeah, I don't think he's going to let me do that ;)

I LOVE that car! Danny's has 110 miles on it and is going strong..we are saving for paying in cash too :)
Brian and I are starting Dave Ramsey mid- August. I'm really looking forward to it! And the truck looks great... I just don't understand why he doesn't want a flower bed in the back! Ha!
